When I think of the word magazine, two up and coming, Cosmopolitan and Success. They are both trendy, yet sophisticated. I want to attract not only one gender, but both. So how can I do this?
When looking at statistics of a business magazine source (InBusiness) sources show that 88% of readers are college grads.  The key word here is 'graduate'. How do I get around this word, and attract college students, and/or soon to be graduates. So, my idea has been decided. I will create a monthly business magazine with a twist- graduation edition MAY 2016!

  1. Hello!
I have a few problems with your blog posts. To begin with, there is nothing here that helps me understand what it is you are trying to do. Please post something. :) Seeing from your first blog post, you have some potential to ways you can start your magazine. You have a platform, somewhat of a target audience (college students) but sadly, because you lack blog posts, I can't see your evolution of thought, your ideas, problems, etc. One solution I can offer to you on how to not make a mainstream, quotidian magazine is to stray from the social norm and create something different. Find a magazine to be inspired from and start from there. Then see what you want or don't want to include and find a way to create a balance to attract your target audience as well as another group in order to create popularity within your magazine. But, in essence, post what is going on so we can enter into your imagination and embark on this trek with you. Good luck!

  2. Hi! After looking over your blog I have some critiques. First, I think the format of the website is a little confusing to navigate with all of the different tabs and pages. The blog itself could use some more visuals in the posts or some color for the website design. As for the 2 posts, I don't really see any thought about where you want to take your project: your goals and how you plan to get there. I think it's super important to show how your ideas change throughout your project, since a main goal for this project is to learn. I'm not really sure what the idea for the magazine is, but your voice does come through on the first post, which you should continue through future blog posts. Last thing, I suggest organizing your paragraphs in a format that makes it easier to read.

  3. Because you only have two posts and your last one was uploaded three weeks ago, I implore you to set aside a tremendous amount of time to catch up. I am not seeing any progression with your research or magazine. As someone who is also creating a magazine, I can tell you it is a lot of work. Maybe your next post should include a schedule for the remainder of the time left you have to work. Also, for the blog itself, navigation is pretty confusing. I suggest altering the settings of your blog to stick to one format.
